Alex asked to go back on SCD. I think instead of doing SCD with him I am going to just do the low carb thing. Over the years I have figured out what his trigger foods are, so we will just avoid them. If that doesn't work, we will go back to strict SCD. I am about 99% sure it will work, though. We had been doing pretty much low carb since stopping SCD and he had no problems. He was convinced that he could eat anything, and had no problem letting everyone know that. So I fed him pasta. I feel bad that I did it, because I knew it would make him sick, but he realized within minutes that he can't eat just anything. I am glad he was able to figure that out at home, instead of at a friends house, or a restaurant.
4/13- Sunday
Meat Lasagna (pg 114 LLC) - Basically lasagna without the noodles. People just rave about this so I just had to try it.
4/14 - Monday
Picnic pork roast - I have never in my life cooked or eaten one of these, but for 79¢ a lb. I couldn't pass it up. The butcher said he brines it with a little liquid smoke and then roasts it, so that is what we are going to do.
4/15 - Tuesday
We will have food at archery (last meeting) but I will have pizza (pg 58 LLC) at home just in case. The pizza crust made with soy flour, so it won't kill Alex. The jury is still out on me and soy flour, so this may be the deciding recipe.
4/16 - Wednesday
Mojo Chicken (pg 127 SS)
4/17 - Thursday
Pork chops Parmesan (pg 122 LLC) - I love Parmesan chicken so I can't wait to try this!
4/18 - Friday
Teriyaki Ginger Garlic Chicken Satay (pg 76 LLC),
4/19 - Saturday
Taco salad - Yum. Leave out the chips for those of us who can't eat them.
